Michelle Hernandez is a glowing cinematographer, based in Los Angeles CA. Michelle started out as a mixed media artist creating vibrant worlds with oil paint, spray paint, water and ink.  It wasn't until one day after school she watched 1982 Ridley Scott's Blade Runner and she fell head over heels in love with cinematography. Which quickly became her true medium to express her artistic freedom. Michelle's background in film came from going to local punk shows in her home town of EL Paso TX. She would film the bands perform live, direct and shoot her friends music videos, and document the real life stories of struggling artist. Michelle's work in the music world created a stylistic look in her narrative work. SEQUENCE is a short film shot by Michelle, which was nominated for best cinematography at Genre Blast Film Festival in 2018. Michelle is mostly known in the Los Angeles music industry working with artist like SEXTILE, PANTHER MODERN, THE GITAS , MADUS, and many more. In the film world Michelle works as a professional Camera Operator working her way to Director of Photography.
